Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Mount Kenya Retreat

Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative before beginning your scenic drive towards the foothills of Mount Kenya. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and breathtaking mountain views, your stay at the iconic Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club is an experience in itself.

Known for its timeless charm, rich history and elegant atmosphere, the property has hosted royalty, celebrities and travellers from around the world for decades. Enjoy walking safari amidst the peaceful surroundings and soaking in the unique charm of one of Kenya’s most iconic luxury retreats.

Day 2: Journey to Lake Naivasha & Boat Ride Experience

After breakfast, drive towards the beautiful Lake Naivasha region. Surrounded by the landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, Naivasha offers a calm and refreshing start to your Kenyan adventure.

Later, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you may spot hippos and a variety of birdlife along the shores. Continue to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari, where one can walk freely among giraffes, zebras, gazelles and other wildlife in a truly unique setting.

Return to the lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 3: Hell’s Gate & Geothermal Adventures

Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of Hell’s Gate National Park, known for its towering cliffs, open plains and volcanic scenery. Enjoy a horseback riding experience through the wilderness, offering a different and exciting way to connect with nature.

Later, continue towards the geothermal region to witness steaming vents, hot springs and fascinating volcanic landscapes that make this area so unique. A day filled with adventure, scenery and unforgettable family experiences.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara & Village Experience

After breakfast, check out and drive towards the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Arrive in the afternoon, check in, and enjoy lunch at the lodge.

Later, visit a traditional Masai village, where you will experience their culture, traditions and way of life. Later, continue for an evening game drive across the Mara’s vast plains, where your first wildlife sightings may include elephants, giraffes, zebras or even big cats.

Return to the accommodation and relax for the evening surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Day 5-6: Exploring Masai Mara

Send the next two days exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Choose between morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day safari with a picnic lunch.

Expect incredible wildlife encounters — from large elephant herds and grazing giraffes to lion prides and elusive predators like cheetahs and leopards. The ever-changing light, open landscapes and constant movement of wildlife make each safari unique and unforgettable.

Day 7: Fly Back to Nairobi – City Experience

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airstrip for your scenic flight back to Nairobi, offering beautiful aerial views of Kenya’s landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival, visit the famous Giraffe Centre, where you can get up close with endangered Rothschild giraffes and enjoy feeding them from the viewing platform — a fun and memorable experience before the end of your journey.

Later, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed final evening in the city.

Day 8: Departure from Nairobi

After breakfast, check out from your hotel at the designated time. You will be transferred to Nairobi International Airport for your onward journey, carrying with you lasting memories of Kenya’s landscapes, wildlife and cultural richness.

Travel Guidelines

Safaris and travel between destinations will be in non-air conditioned Landcruisers
Park fees may change with government updates, any increase will be billed accordingly
Masai Mara fees covers main reserve, extra fees apply for visits to Mara Triangle or conservancies
Yellow Fever vaccination is mandatory to travel to Kenya
Local flights limit baggage to 15 kg per person, excess weight is charged as per airline rules
Please keep all valuables with you and we can't be held responsible for loss
Park entry and exit are allowed only between sunrise and sunset, these rules are strictly followed
Late departures from parks may lead to extra charges, which must be paid by the guests
Our vehicles are serviced regularly but African roads are tough & unexpected issues may arise
Plans may shift due to weather, local conditions or other unforeseen events
Payments must reflect the full invoiced amount after deducting any bank or transfer fees
