Masai Mara 8-Day Safari Itinerary

Upon arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will drive you to Amboseli, famous for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large Elephant herds.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed lunch. After a short rest, head out for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park which will last until sunset. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya's most scenic parks, set against the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Choose between two half day (morning and afternoon game drives), or a full-day safari with packed meals to maximize your time in the wild.

Amboseli is famed for its large herds of Elephants, often seen walking across the dusty plains with snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background — a sight that's truly postcard-perfect. The park also offers chances to spot lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and an abundance of birdlife around its seasonal wetlands.

After an early breakfast, check out and begin your drive toward Lake Elementaita with packed lunch. On the way, stop at Lake Naivasha for a scenic boat ride (1 hour) to spot hippos and birdlife like Fish Eagles and Pelicans.

Continue driving to Lake Elementaita, known for its Flamingos and serene views. Check in and relax at your lakeside lodge.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its flamingo populations and rhino sanctuary. Enjoy a full day of game drives in one of Kenya's most compact yet wildlife-rich parks.

Spot both black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, and over 400 bird species against the stunning backdrop of the lake. Overnight at a lodge or camp near Lake Nakuru.

After breakfast, check out and drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara, home to the Big Five and the Great Migration. You will reach in the afternoon.

Upon arrival check in, and enjoy a hot lunch. After a short rest, head out and drive to visit Masai village (1 hour). Interact with the Masai people, known for their distinctive culture and traditions. This experience provides you insights to their way of life. Later, drive back to hotel and rest for the day.

Spend the next two days exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve, one of the richest wildlife ecosystems on the planet. Choose between two half day safaris (morning and afternoon) or a full-day safari with a packed picnic lunch to make the most of your time in the bush.

Expect to see large herds of elephants, prides of lions, graceful giraffes, and possibly cheetahs or leopards on the hunt. The Masai Mara's open savannahs and seasonal rivers create the perfect stage for wildlife action and breathtaking photography.

After breakfast, check out at around 8:30 am and begin your drive back to Nairobi. If time permits, you may opt for a short visit to Village Market, perfect for grabbing souvenirs or a quick bite before your flight.

Later, you will be transferred to Nairobi International Airport for your journey back home, carrying unforgettable memories of Kenya's landscapes, people, and wildlife.
